Can anyone give me a ballpark figure for bathroom remodeling?
We are the proud owners of a house with the world's ugliest bathroom. The sellers painted the ceramic tile babypoop green (and it's a bad paint job to boot) and put Finding Nemo decals on the light blue toilet and light blue tub (which does not go well with babypoop green). We decided that we hate it so much that we want to get it remodeled. It doesn't seem like something we can do ourselves because of all the plumbing involved.
Anyone have a ballpark # of what it might cost? If my bubble has to be burst I'd rather have it happen now. Thanks.

the price really depends on what you are looking to put into it..(ie. tiles, counter tops, vanities)
The price fluctuates...
Once the plumbiong is done can the rest be done by yourselves? Or are you going to have someone do it all.
My bathroom was done under 5000K

It didn't occur to me that we could do the rest other than the plumbing. I'd be willing to do that. I want the whole thing re-done- tiles, vanity, walls. Though it doesn't have to be fancy. I just want a bathroom that's not horrendous looking.
$5k might be out of our budget for now. Thanks for the info.

At least 5k. You never know what is going tobe under your walls, so don't do it unless you are prepared to spend at least 5k. We have the worlds smallest bathroom and it is going to cost us about 6,500k. We are not buying top of the line stuff, basically middle of the road. If I were you I would wait to do it right, if you go cheap it won't last and you will be having to replace stuff down the line.
This doesnt include the extra $1500 I had to pay when they found out I had esbestos in the walls!!!
Good Luck!
