When you get BFP, how many weeks along are you
Considered? I thought it starts from BFP but OB office seemed to add on weeks you would think I never did this before

I feel like the way they calculate it, the moment you conceive you are already 2 weeks pregnant.
Like it starts the day of your last period or something strange like that.
I never understood it.
ETA- you can google a due date calculator and enter in your last period date, and some other info and it will tell you how far along you are

You're close to 4 weeks by the time you get your BFP... they calculate it from your last period.

With DD1, I was 4w1d when I got my bfp - 15DPO
With DD2, I was 3w6d when I got my bfp - 13DPO

Date of last period unless you know exactly when you Oed (ie: you triggered and had an IUI or IVF).

Thanks, this makes sense now. Doc wants to see me at 8 weeks , I was thinking I'll only be 6 weeks along at appt time
