Recommendations for dr. affiliated w/ LIJ and Highrisk
Unfortunately my pregnancy ended at 20 weeks. I was with the Ann and Jules Gottlieb Womens Comprehensive Health Center. The high risk group I was seeing was The Center for Maternal Fetal Health.
In the city, with my first pregnancy at high risk
I was seen and scanned at 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 16 and 20 at first. They did the anatomy scan at 16 weeks.
Ann and Jules did anatomy scan at 20 weeks and didn't scan me at 16 only heard heart beat.
I'm extremely angry and eventhough I insisted on a scan at 16 weeks with this pregnancy, they refused to do it. They did heartbeat check and said fine.
If I get pregnant next time, I can't go into the city because not feasible. I do not want North Shore bc lij has better nicu.
Please let me know if you know anyone affiliated with the high risk group at LIJ on Long Island.

This is who I use. They stayed on top of my pregnancy where at 20 weeks I was going every 2 weeks since I have a history of fetal demise and clotting disorder.
Yes they deliver at North Shore opposed to LIJ. I personally preferred North shore over LIJ(delivered at both in the last 2 years). The staff was way nicer.
I did research Ann and Jules Gottlieb prior to scheduling with North Shore OB/GYN Assoc and wasn't to fond about having to have a lot of testing at the hospital opposed to the office(NT scan etc). So I went with Kleins practice.

Oh also the LIJ doctors use Maternal Fetal Medicine practice that's at the hospital. Don't know of a separate practice other than that one. Used them with my DD and Dr Bashian in Bellmore but the wait times at her office are insane (was there for 4 hours) wouldn't recommend unless you are willing to wait.

So sorry for your loss.
At the end of my pregnancy when I had complications I saw Dr. Nanda and Meirowitz at the Maternal Fetal Department at LIJ. I didn't spend a lot of time with them bc I delivered shortly after my complications started (2 weeks later) but they were super understanding, kind & sensitive to my situation. Hope this helps!

I'm so very sorry. 
I was high risk and delivered at LIJ but I went to Winthrop to see their MFM speacialists. It wasn't convenient but we didn't care. My OB did her residency there and referred me to Dr. Chavez. He is top notch. The whole team there is, really. Amazing! I'm so grateful for all of them. They took such great care of me and my girls from 20 weeks on.
