Adding baseboard heating
Can anyone recommend a plumber or the right person to add baseboard heating to a bedroom?
My son's room only has a baseboard along one wall and it gets freezing in there during the winter. We want to add another baseboard on another wall before next winter.

Re: Adding baseboard heating
I think one wall of baseboard should be adequate in a bedroom sized room. That's what most homes have.
Before you look into adding more baseboard heating, have you looked into other issues? For example, is the room over the garage? I know my DS's room is, and it's much colder than other rooms. We did add some insulation to the garage, which helped. Is there a draft from the windows?
Are your bedrooms on a different zone of heat from the rest of the house? If not, it may help to add a zone for the bedrooms (which is relatively easy when you have hot water/baseboard heat), and then set the heat higher at night for just the bedrooms.
Sorry that this doesn't really answer your original question, but I would just look into it (if you haven't already) before adding more baseboard heat, which may not solve the issue.
