Siding
So when we close on our house we plan to reside immediately. Currently the house is built in 1958 with original asbestos siding. We would like to redo the siding upto building code. Has anyone resided their house and dealt with this? If so can you recommend your contractor and about how much the cost was for you?

We used Unified Windows & Doors
They did our roof last year and our siding and front door this year. They were the best price wise and did a great job.
They resided our dormered cape and put new front door in one day!! We added decorative molding over windows, a window flower box (we purchased the flower box, mailbox and address plaque online separately and they put up no extra charge) front door and storm door - all in one full day.
It was great.
Highly recommend
We had 3 other quotes. One was DOUBLE without the added decorative pieces.

I believe you can just cover the asbestos siding up, you don't have to remove it.
