Birthday Party Help
I am stumped. I need to figure out a birthday place for my daughter. It is in the middle of October. She will be turning 9. She is the oldest so most of her friends are 8. I really didn't want to do something at home, but if I did what should I do?
If I have it out, I already did bowling, spa party, pottery party, bounce houses, trampoline places. There are no good movies out in Oct for a movie party. I have no idea what to do. Help!!!
Edited to add, we are in the Setauket/Stony Brook area.

Re: Birthday Party Help
Is she into video games at all? They have those video game trucks that come and the kids all go in the truck. They are prett cool.
I know some chocolate places have parties or some bakeries too where the kids bake something.
If you had at the house, Would she like a Halloween themed party? My sister's birthday is Oct 29th but she always had her parties a week earlier bc of Halloween. She had a couple Halloween themed parties and OMG they were so much fun and everyone had a blast (even me and I'm 9 years older than her so I had to help).

Birthday Party Help
I agree, a Halloween Party is a fun idea. We have one every year (not a birthday one).
Out you could do Bling It On, Chocolate Works, Indoor Ice Skating at The Rinx, A Cake in Time Cupcake decorating party, or at Cupcake Girlz. Or one of the local farms that sets up for their fall festivals. Some might do birthday parties.

Re: Birthday Party Help
when my DD was around that age we did a dance party at Party Peeps in East Meadow. The girls had the best time, they still talk about it as one of the best parties. All I had to do was bring a cake, nice and easy. I am sure there are similar places closer to your area

Re: Birthday Party Help
Sports Arena has laser tag if she's into that. Chocolate Works in Stony Brook I teach third grade and last spring all of my girls were going to parties at Little Divas (I think that's what it's called lol) and with someone called the Lanyard Lady.

Thanks all! I would love to do a Halloween theme but DD thinks they are two separate events and doesn't want to combine lol.
We actually just booked Bling it On. Looks cute and the favor is built in so it saves on some dough! Thanks again!
