Venting
My belly is huge, I look full term even though I'm 17 weeks. I know this. I don't need other people to keep telling me this.
A woman I work with constantly reminds me! I'm going on vacation next week and today she says "You're not going to wear a bikini are you? Your belly is so big." Is that a serious comment??? I said 'I was and probably am going to, thanks for making me feel like I shouldn't" Some people have no filter!

This is my fourth and I've been hearing the same thing since I announced we were expecting. It is SO annoying, but it amazes me that some people mean well and don't "get it". Either way, it's ovnoxious and I just wanted to say that I know exactly how you feel! Why should my body be the topic of convo for everyone?! The most amazing part is that most of the comments that I get come from other mothers!!!!

I feel your pain. A few weeks ago I was at a family dinner with another person who is a week behind me. I was wearing tight fitting clothes, so you could clearly see my bump. A relative kept saying how it's odd that I'm so much bigger than my S. Someone then goes to say, "yeah, but remember how skinny S was before she got pregnant".
People really lose all etiquette when it comes to being around pregnant people.

My DH couldn't believe I went to the pool until the day I delivered. I wore my bathing suit proudly! You got another life in there!

People are so rude. I'm short and apparently have a short torso (according to everyone who decides to comment on my size) which makes me look bigger and for months people keep asking me if I have 2 babies in my belly as opposed to 1. So when I say no only 1 they look at me super hard and ask if I'm 100% sure.
If I were you I would just stopped entertaining people with stupid comments it's not even worth the energy you have left !

It's funny...I had a late loss last year at 31 weeks, and am now currently 24 weeks with my second....and EVERY single day I obsess over my belly size and whether its big enough and I find myself WISHING people would comment that I look bigger! Send those rude, foolish people my way, will ya? I'll take them off your hands for you!
Seriously though...rock that effing bikini and don't give the idiots a second thought!!!
