Holiday Shopping
Aside from buying something and stashing it for the holidays, when do you start holiday shopping for your kids/family?

I have to get though family birthdays first. But if I see something that is an excellent price I will stash it in the gift closet regardless of the time of year. I typically start the rest of my holiday shopping in late October.

Around now I'll start keeping an eye out for my holiday shopping. If I see something that would be a perfect gift at a good price I'll buy it now and stash it for Xmas.

I have found that the prices either go way up around holiday time, or, you can't find what you need/want - I do not at all enjoy the insanity of holiday shopping.
I like to do it online, a ltitle at a time -

With my kids they say they want EVERYTHING they see a commercial for. So theyre easy hahahhahah

For my kids I started in the end of September. I just can't stress trying to find the things they want really close to Christmas. Plus I seem to get better deals now. Also I hold onto recipes for everything and I'll return and re buy something if its a big price difference or price adjust if the store allows it. For everyone else I'll shop around Thanksgiving.

I try to buy a little at a time online starting around now
Like if she mentions something I will make a note in my head and go check online the next day and try to buy it.
I don't do stores at all from Nov- Jan

I like to start early but, we pull names out of a hat on Thanksgiving for a good portion of the gifts I need to buy which drives me insane.
