personally I love my uggs. NOT the uggs ugss these are waterproof and lace up. Their incredibly warm comfy and great for snow!

I agree sorel boots are awesome. I also bought waterproof timberland boots at the outlet for like $60 last year that are good in -40 weather. Well worth it and they are stylish! I have sorel too but they are more of a rain boot- both awesome brands! Check the outlets!

I have a pair of Sporto boots that I purchased from HSN a few years ago. I love them, waterproof and they keep me warm. Reasonably priced too.

I finally got myself a pair of Merrell last year -
They are ridiculously light, comfortable, warm and waterPROOF -
They also look adorable, and have a zipper on the side, so you don't actually have to lace and unlace them - SO much easier to get on/off
i know Sorrel is the fan favorite - but I triend on 5 pairs and hated them all

I have a slightly different (older season, mine have red laces) version of these and love them, they are warm, keep my feet dry and are relatively cute for snow boots. I live in the city, so I have walked many miles in these boots.

I got mine from the Sketchers outlet last year. They are just like Sorel but half the price. Wore all last winter and my feet were warm and dry.

I just bought the Sorel 'Joan of Arc'. I borrowed my boyfriend's daughter's pair the last 2 years because I really liked them, I figured I should just buy a pair already. I really don't think I would have chosen them if not for the fact that I basically "test drove" them.
They're warm, they're comfortable, I don't find them to be heavy, but maybe a little stiff where your foot bends, which maybe makes them seem heavy because your mobility is slightly reduced. I have run after our dogs in them several times with no problem…

I just got the Adirondack after suffering all last winter bc they were out of stock. I (kind of) can't wait to wear them!
