Fred Flinstone feet!!!
Ugh! Anyone else's feet so disgustingly bloated??? I can't fit these hooves into anything, not even socks! And they're sweaty and gross!!!!! WAAAAAA!!!!
Anyone else going through this? What are you wearing? I've been in flip flops but the weather is supposed to drop.
Please tell me they go back to normal LOL.

Fred Flinstone feet!!!
I didn't have this during pregnancy but after I delivered. Only thing that helped was drinking a ton of water and elevating my feet when I could.

Re: Fred Flinstone feet!!!
My feet were SO swollen with my second pregnancy. All my shoes got stretched out. I wound up ordering a pair of Tom's in the next size up and that worked for me.
By the time I got to my room after labor, my feet were already back to their normal selves. Literally that quickly. Hang in there!

Re: Fred Flinstone feet!!!
My feet and ankles swelled early on and only got worse. By the time I was ready to deliver I could only wear flip flops- luckily it was late June And not even all flip flops fit- some would cut into my elephant feet. I had to go out and buy a pair of croc flip flops in the next size up- they run extra wide (And that began my love affair with Croc flip flops but that's another story! )
Within a few days of delivering- I remember I was already home, I looked down and noticed my ankle bones and the bones in my feet. I rememer calling my mom up so excited that I could actually see my bones after all those months of puffy, freak feet. She thought I was nuts.
My feet actually looked freakishly skinny- after seeing them so swollen for so long.
I do remmber them being swollen in the hospital though- the nurse had told me to keep them elevated on a pillow at night. They pump you with so much fluid in the IV that it's normal
It goes away though- but I feel your pain!
Elevate, ice if you have to and drink a ton of water. Avoid sodium
I did all that and my feet still looked like something out of National Geographic. Sometimes it's just how the baby is lying that prevents fluids from returning back up

Fred Flinstone feet!!!
I'm 32 weeks pregnant and it just recently started happening to me. I noticed when I would wear shoes that were not supportive by back and feet would hurt and the swelling would be so much worse. It also didn't help that because my feet were swelling so bad I snapped the band on 2 pairs of flip flops lol.
DH went out and bought me shoes now .... I'm not knocking the brand but he bought me a pair of sketchers....he asked the lady for wide shoes cause my feet where so gross and my goodness they are so damn ugly. They have memory foam in them which helps a lot with my back pain. They don't stop the swelling but since wearing them my feet don't hurt as much and the swelling has gone down (sometimes I can actually see my ankle bones and foot bones! lol)
I can't wait for my feet and ankles to look normal again!

Yes it was awful!! Took a little over a week for them to go back to normal. It was so much worse than during pregnancy.

I could not find shoes to fit me to get to the first pediatrician appt, and it was dead of winter so I needed something. I had to wear my husband's slippers there!
