Halfway through the tww - kind of long
Hey ladies, I haven't been on in a while. I didn't really have much to share. Until now.
I thought I was actually getting off this roller coaster - I had accepted that my husband and I had a childless future ahead of us. I have diminished ovarian reserve/premature menopause. We started back with an RE last October when I finally got a diagnosis. We've done 5 IUIs - the other cycles, I didn't produce eggs. It's been quite a year. My last cycle, I didn't produce any follicles - even after 10 days of injectibles. After my period my fsh was still too high and the doctor advised that we do nothing and wait for my next period. My husband and I agreed. We talked a lot over that month and had come to accept that we'd done everything we could, but now it was time to move on. We talked about vacations we would take, projects for the house. Things like that. I got my period and we went in for 3 day blood work. I seemed to have 3 cysts so I laughed that I probably ovulated last cycle. Oh well. Blood confirmed that at least one of those cysts was a follicle. I went back a few days later and they were two follicles and maybe a cyst (measuring 25, 23 and 17). I triggered Friday and had the IUI on Saturday. Personal bests for both of us 2 follicles and 38 million swimmers.
I'm halfway through the 2ww and I am going out of my mind!
I just needed to get that out. Keep us in your prayers, please. We need them.
