Which North Face?
I need a new coat. I am always cold and commute into the city daily- mostly by car, but I take the train more often in snowy weather. I want something lightweight but warm and water resistant.
Any thoughts on this coat?
I'm open to other suggestions!

I was in the market for a north face like that last year and did a ton of research. Turns out the LL Bean jacket that looks similar to that one has a higher fill count and is much warmer for less money. Check out LL Bean website. Mine is an 810 fill I think

Do you remember what the name of the style was? DH has an LL Bean coat and likes it. Never thought of it for myself!

I love it. So warm. Higher fill than the northface so it's warmer. Water resistant too. Better price.

I got mine last year when Lord & Taylor had their friends and family sale. I'm 99% sure I have the Gotham. It is SO worth the money.

I just returned my columbia because it was light wtg and the company said it was for fall not winter so it would not keep me warm while waiting for the train.
