First IUI-update!
Hi Ladies,
My first IUI is probably going to be tomorrow. I am just waiting for them to call me back with a time. I am so excited and need prayers for tomorrow.
Also did anyone who got an IUI ever bleed from it? It shouldn't hurt to much; that's what I have been told.
How long does it take in the office?

Update!
The appointment went great! DH was able to produce and after they washed the sperm they said they collected over 5 million sperm and 100% motility! They said they were realy pleased with that! We're so excited!! Next week they check my progesterone and two weeks I take a pregnancy test! Woohoo!
As for the IUIS itself, it was not painful but I did have cramping. But nothing that was so bad. Thanks ladies!!

i had a little bit of spotting, but my uterus and cervix are tilted far back, so the dr. always had a hard time getting the catheter in. nothing terrible though.

No spotting from the two that I had (back to back).
The first one was done in a second.
The second needed the doctor and was uncomfortable.
The entire process took a while. Depending on where your DH is going to do his sample. Mine did his onsite both days. The had to wait for it to liquefy, then they start the cleaning process. So that alone was a good hour.
If it's a nice day...walk around the bldg! We did that the second day. Just let the receptionist know and she'll take your cell to call you when they're ready. Beats sitting in the waiting room all that time.
Once you get DH's sperm the process moves quickly.

No spotting, it's not painful at all. Less than a pap, but similar. I would be in and out of the office in under an hour. The IUI itself takes about a minute. Then they'd have me lie down for 10 minutes. That was it. Easy!

Agreed. No pain, just takes a some time because of sperm prep and such. But no more than a pap smear. Really quick and easy. Good luck...I got pregs on my first!
