Snow Boots
I haven't owned a pair of snow boots since I was a kid but it's time to invest in a pair!! I bought the Sorel Joan of Arctic boots, but I had to return them bc they were too heavy. I am pregnant and due in January and just couldn't imagine walking in them with the big belly and lugging my 2 and 3 year old kids!
Any others you love that aren't as heavy but still look kind of cute??

Re: Snow Boots
I bought a pair from LL Bean last year. Super warm and not heavy at all.
ETA: Like this, but with laces in the front

I can't get the link to work. It's the women's Amore boot. Macys has them online or just google the name!

Re: Snow Boots
I'd go for a pair of shorter Sorel boots. I got... I want to say black "Caribou" Sorel boots for my MIL three years ago and she still wears them every year. They are MUCH lighter and still so warm and waterproof.

Snow Boots
I have Columbia Omni Heat. They are super warm and waterproof. I used them snowtubing and horseback riding in extremely cold temps last Winter. They run about $120, but I ordered a kid size for half the price (kids sizes 5 fits a 7, 6 fits an 8).

I bought these off zulily today. http://www.zulily.com/p/khaki-frost-boot-148076-33881770.html?pos=98&fromEvent=148076&
I figured for $35 it was worth a shot

I got these too for this year ... same color too. DH has a pair of Caribou's I bought him 12 years ago and they are still in good use.

Re: Snow Boots
I was so set on getting the Sorels too until I tried them on. I couldn't imagine wearing them that heavy. I got Northface Shellista boots! They are super comfy & warm. Tried them on at sports authority. In stores only carry whole sizes, so I ordered the 1/2 size from zappos
