Botox or filler
Any info on botox and/or filler? How much does it cost? How iften do you need to get it? What is the best product for a big lune on forehead between the eyes and the lines you get from smiling? I am noticing mine so much lately and am interested in my options. TIA

Re: Botox or filler
I'm 40 and do Botox along with different fillers depending on where it's needed (based on my doctor's recommendation.)
The Botox pretty much eliminated the lines on my forehead, the "11s" in-between my brows and my crows feet.
I have some fine lines under my eyes, but I had filler done in my cheeks (Restylane Lyft) which helped diminish some of those. (I'm debating whether I should have my tear troughs done as well...Belotero was suggested for those.)
I've had Belotero done for smile lines (by my mouth) and Restylane Silk used to plump up my lips.
The Botox lasts me 4 months or so. The Belotero I had done for my smile lines by mouth seems to still be good after 6+ months. I only had my cheeks and lips done in November and I plan to go back in May, unless I feel they need to be done sooner.
Unfortunately it's hard to say how long everything lasts because every body metabolizes the fillers/botox at different rates.
As for cost...I don't know the exact breakdown because I tend to combine my injectables (Botox and a filler at the same appointment) and although they tell me the breakdown of what each cc or syringe costs, I just listen for the lump sum. I think my Botox costs around 800. My lips were 500 for 1 syringe.

Botox or filler
I do a Botox in my forehead (it's called Xeomin, it's the same thing, just made by a diff drug company). My Derm offers it and uses it herself, it's slightly cheaper than Botox. The results are simply amazing and last around 4 mos. I'm actually going on Friday again, can't wait. To smooth out my "11"'s and large forehead line cost me about $375. FM me if you want pic. It doesn't hurt, I highly recommend it.
