Holiday Party

I am only 8 weeks, but people will know something is up if i dont order a drink. Whats the best way to get around it? Was thinking just ordering drinks and leaving them.

Holiday Party

Club soda with lime, but ask if it in the same cup as alcohol (sometimes they put non-alcoholic drinks in larger glasses).

Re: Holiday Party

I used to get there early and confide in a bartender.
They would make me club soda with lime and say it was vodka sodas.

Yeah I'd probably get a cranberry and sprite and pretend like there's vodka in it.

That's the same as telling them you're pregnant, haha.

Holiday Party

Cranberry juice in a martini glass. Bartender will know what's up but who cares what he/she thinks? It will look like a cosmo.

Or club soda in a cocktail glass.

Re: Holiday Party

Club soda with a lime was easiest (had a wedding right around that time), but def ask for it in the regular glass. The bartender will know. You can also get another drink and just hold it, but tough to do that all night (and you will probably be thirsty and want to actually drink something!).

Hold and pretend to sip a glass or two of wine, then say you are driving and have to switch to something else.

If I was at someone's house I would get a bottle of beer and take it to the bathroom with me and switch it out with water.
