If you won your tax grievance

How long before you saw the difference in your mortgage or your tax bill?

We received a letter that we won our tax grievance and our taxes should be reduced but I'm not sure when.

We are town of Oyster Bay Nassau County if that matters. I assume we won't see the difference until some time end of the year but was curious as to the real life experience of others.

If you won your grievance and you just found out, it was likely for this year, since they are basically a year behind.

Your mortgage likely gets rebalanced once a year, regardless. So whenever that is, that'll when you'll see a difference.

My town was able to update the my yearly due prior to the second half billing. This was Town of Huntington so i pretty much saw the savings quick.

You will see the school portion in October and the town next January.
