Maternit21 Results
The genetic counselor just called and all my results came back great  Weight off my shoulders
She also asked if I wanted to know the gender....DH and I wanted to wait so I said not yet and she said she would mail it to me.
I called DH immediately after to tell him the great news and let him know that she was mailing us the gender. He said to call her back....I did and although the office closes at 5, they must put their recording on early 
I suppose I can wait....but once that carrot is dangled, you just feel like you need it

Maternit21 Results
Oh no! Did you have to wait a long time to get the results? Are they open tomorrow?
Ours took just under 2 weeks. It was torture!!! Our mothers were asking us every day if we got the results. They wouldn't even wait an extra day so that we could do a gender reveal cake. lol We ended up getting a doughnut with pink icing from the supermarket to do the reveal! Ha ha!

I went a week ago, I was actually surprised that they called me back so quickly! I expected it to be longer.
They are open tomorrow so I could always call but I dont know if they keep the results.
Also, I have another sonogram on Monday, so my crazy brain says its probably best to wait anyway just to make sure that everything is okay first 
I love that your family wouldnt let you wait haha. Thats hilarious. SO you found out from your Maternit21 test also?

They should have the results in your chart! Ha ha! I know I wouldn't be able to wait until Monday if I knew the results were waiting there. lol Yup! Maternit21 was what we did too! It's so weird knowing this early!

So annoying! Similar thing happened to me. I got a call from my OB that the results were in and everything was "normal." The next day I called my genetic counselor and my OB for the gender results. It felt like an eternity until someone called me back.

I called this morning....twice  hahah And the woman isn't in the office yet so I have to wait for her to call me back. Longest morning ever!
DH is actually pushing to know - I would be fine waiting now that the initial "holy crap" factor has worn off a bit.
It's so crazy that it's so early to find out!

Ha ha! That would SO be me!!! When I called the first time it was about a week and a half in and the woman said the results usually come in 2 weeks...or so. I asked if she would call when they came in and she said they are pretty busy so I could call in another week.  Ha! No way was I waiting that long!!!

Ahhh I'd be right there with your DH. I had to wait until 20 weeks to find out and it was torture!!! Even the sonogram tech was like you had to wait ALL THIS TIME?!

And I just spoke to her....its a  !!!!! I'm shocked!!! DH and I were CONVINCED it was a girl!

And I just spoke to her....its a !!!!! I'm shocked!!! DH and I were CONVINCED it was a girl!
I had an appointment at 17 weeks and they wouldn't even do a sonogram!  But it was exciting to look forward to!
Congrats on your baby boy!!!!
