Update... Got my fert call
Update:
And he just called.... Got my fert results and he cleared up confusion I had about my frozen embryos.
So here are the complete results and info:
Three frozen embryos: graded a through d. AA is the best.
One was BB (I didn't hear that weeks ago but then k as in a room with students. Oy!) two were CC. The BB and one CC were regular chromosomes.
The third CC was trisomy so it won't be used. Grateful I did testing at 39 years old.
This time I got 8 eggs and 4 fertilized from my retrieval on Thursday. Now they wait to day 5 or 6 before they get genetic testing if any continue to grow to that point. Please pray that the grow!
I told him no matter what happens with the embryos from this current cycle that are waiting to be tested I want to do to the frozen transfer since I have the two frozen embies ready to go,. He said I can transfer one or two based on recs for women my age. But he said that bc I did chromosome testing my CC embryo can make a baby, especially bc it is normal.
So I think I will stick to one embryo at a time. No need to increase odds of twins as a single parent.
I am getting easy to have my glass of wine tonight. Woohooo!!!

Re: Anyone not get a fert call when you r told you would?
I got my initial fert report right at 11am exactly, which is when they said they would call.
I did not get a call at all for day 3 and had to call and ask!

Great you have 2 normal and 4 more in the running. Fingers crossed for some more good embryos! When will your FET cycle start?

I think I feel good about starting it when I get my period. My body doesn't feel beat up from this cycle. And I'd like to give it go, see what happens and then take a break in April so I ca take a trip down south and just get some sun.

The fact that the CC was tested and is healthy makes its odds better. Sooo... I think I have to be cautious and just put in 1. I can't afford 2.
It means more FETs possibly, but I think being conservative is better for me.
When I was married I put 2 or 3 back. But I was married, you know what I mean? Different situation with two incomes.

True! I've always put back 2 because I was okay with twins. If you aren't then 1 is the way to go especially if you did PGD. Do you have coverage for FETs?

Yup..., I have coverage still for FET. Maybe I would do more than 1 on a last try kind of situation. Time will tell.
