Gonal F and Menopur Side Effects
Hi!
Last night was my first time with these injections and experienced faint like feeling around midnight and sweats. Sorry TMI but then had the runs and then felt better. I called the dr on call and she was half asleep saying its normal just lay down and drink water...I will call again today but wanted to know anyone else experienced this?
Already dreading doing it tonight and for the rest of this cycle.
What I took:
Gonal F 300
and 2 powders of Menopur
was I not supposed to take it back to back?

Gonal F and Menopur Side Effects
i was always told to take them within an hour of each other. but since i was already doing the injections, i always did them b2b, just in different sides.
I never had faint like symptoms or anything, but they are extra hormones in your body, so i wouldn't be surprised if they do strange things to you.
the only side effect i felt and only with the menopur was that it burned a bit going in, but nothing else.

Perhaps it was nerves? I never had any side effects from either drug.

I only had side effects from the menopur. And it burned when injected but that's about it. Feel better and keep hydrated!

i was always told menopur in the am, follistim at night. i never did them back to back.
try that. or spacing it out;
i did have some sweats here and there, and lack of appetite and fatigue while on them.

Sorry that happened to you. I always did mine back to back as well, just on different sides of my belly.
The first time I did it, I did feel a little faint afterwards and like I couldn't breathe, but it was anxiety driven. I was so worked up and nervous over having to do the injections.
It got much better after the first night.

I also did them back to back just on different sides. The menpour was the one that bothered me, not faint though more a very burning feeling. Sorry you had other side effects. Isis also have sweats throughout the IVF process but did not always feel it was at the same time.also had a lack of appetite.

Thanks Ladies, I think most of it was my nerves and anxiety and I did it last night and was fine (on different sides) My daughter had the flu and now my DH has the stomach bug so it could of been something in the air regardless of bleach and Lysol everywhere!
This morning I just feel tired, bloated and have no appetite (which is a good thing I guess ha  )
