waxing- where to go
I've never had a wax before, but i'm having a hard time seeing "down there"... where should i go to get a wax done? I'm in Western Nassau
Also, do you get a brazilian or a bikini wax? I don't know anything about this! lol

European Wax Center is great. Reasonably priced and clean. They have 3 different options for bikini. Full bikini is everything in the front. I go to Denise at the Merrick West location but there are locations all over. I got waxed until 8 months pregnant.

This! EWC is the best. I go to the east northport one and my favorite girl recently left but not before I got my last brazilian at 8 1/2 months pregnant!

Brazilian includes the butt strip. Full bikini is as much or as little as you want off in the front. EWC also has just the bikini line option too I believe.

EWC I did it for my wedding. No complaints- quick, painless, and not extremely expensive. It was less painful than getting my legs done!

EWC - I got a brazilian when I was about 38 weeks pregnant for the first time ever. I was told it would be more painful when pregnant but I had nothing to compare it to. I personally thought it was the most painful thing ever. I don't plan on ever doing it again and after giving birth I realize I should have just kept blindly shaving because there's no shame on that day lol.

I work in the city so I go to Shobha. I didn't do it regularly before pregnancy but I personally didn't think it was horribly painful. Some areas are more uncomfortable than others but I thought it was tolerable. Nothing that made me want to scream. I also think it depends on the person doing it. The right person will be done within 5 minutes. Check yelp reviews and see who is highly recommended. Also, if you're anxious about it tell them you want to first attempt a full bikini which isn't the whole thing .. if you can handle the pain then just have her go for the Brazilian. Good Luck!
