So I got the nerve for a waxing (TMI?)
I did it!
I got tired of not being able to see the "little girl below the belly", so I made an appointment for just a bikini/thong waxing. I figured if I can tollerate it, I'd go for a full.
Sure enough, I went for the full and I actually thought it hurt less than any time in the past. (It's a new place for me, so she just could have been the best!

I have what may be considered a ridiculous question.
I have always been a shaver myself, but as the tummy grows I have been more interested and open to the idea of a bikini wax.
But, how does it work? I leave my undies on and they work around it, or undies come off?

depends on the place. I have been to about 4 different places for a brazillian and each is different
One place has you leave on your panties (tells you to wear old ones) and they use paper towels to cover and move them away from the area.
Some gave you disposable ones to wear
Then some have you take them off all together.

You are lucky, because i truly feel as though it hurts more now that i am pregnant.
Where did you go this time? Is it in Nassau? I normally go in manhattan but i need to find a place on LI.

Sorry where I went, won't help. But on LI, I have been to Maximus, Rani (across the street from Source Mall), and a lady who does it in her home in Merrick (I can FM you her info if you want).
All of them I always found "tollerable". So maybe it's me. But this time was even more tollerable. Maybe because I worked myself up to prepare for the worst?

Yay another brazilian girl!
I've continued getting waxed. I go to a place in Setauket.
I was scared of the pain, but honestly, it was always tolerable for me and I don't think it hurts any worse now than it did before.
And, yes, at my place, you take it all off!

I've slacked off a bit in the waxing dep't., but I'm going for my first internal next week. So, I have an app't for a Brazilian next week. It's tough to do it without Advil.
