A little late but I had my April baby
Gianna Valentina arrived April 7th 12 days ahead of her scheduled c-section and 17 days ahead of her due date AND one day before DHs 40th birthday  .
During my weekly check up my blood pressure was slightly elevated and due to that and my GD they send me to L&D. Blood pressure went down when I was there and there was only very little protein in my urine so I was sent home with instructions to go back to my OB next day.
The next day at my appointment my BP was elevated again and this time I had a lot of protein in my urine so my doctor decided to deliver me. Since of course I had just had a big lunch I had to wait until 9:30 pm for my csection.
My OB was amazing but I had a lot of scar tissue from my previous C and from an operation so it took a long time to get her out. Everything went great and baby girl was born at 37w4d 6lbs 9oz and 18.5 inches. She wasn't big considering I had GD and was on insulin for a few months.
I gave birth and NY Presbyterian Downtown Hospital. The entire staff was great. The nurses were the best BUT the post partum rooms were tiny and there was a wait for the private rooms. We finally got a private room Saturday morning after being on a wait list starting Thursday night and at $400 a night the private room did not have a private shower so that was a little dissapointing. Other than that we had a wonderful experience from my OB all the way to the nurses and all staff.
We went home on Sunday and are absolutely in love with her. Her big sister is over the moon and so helpful. I can't believe after struggling with recurrent M/Cs and IF for sooo long we finally have our complete family. I will try to post a pic when I get a chance.

Congrats! Pretty name! And yeah I would be super peeved if I didn't have a private bathroom at $400/night. Wtf?!
