DOE Hiring process
I know it takes forever with them and that their budgets don't get approved till July 1.... but... I had a demo last week, and am wondering... what are the chances I will hear something before July 1? Should I bother reaching out to the principal before then?
SOrry for all these questions but I am SO anxious to confirm something for September.

DOE Hiring process
You can always reach out by e-mail or formal letter thanking her for giving you the opportunity to interview for them. You may hear back sooner, but you probably won't continue the hiring process until after July 1st

I sent a thank you email right after the demo. Ugh. The wait is the worst part. I wish I KNEW so that I can either stop sending resumes out or start REALLY sending out a ton more. I would love to be able to breathe and know that either YES I have a job or NO, I need to hit the pavement.

DOE Hiring process
You have to keep sending out resumes until it's official. You will know when it's official when principal asks for your file/SSN, the new teacher finder shows you as placed, and you get emails about comfirming your identity, etc.

He asked for my employee ID number after the demo. I am hoping that is a good sign. Still waiting to hear from him. July 1 can't come soon enough!
