having BBQ, need activities for kids
we are having a BBQ in a few weeks, and about 10 kids (ages 2-9) are coming...we have a bouncy house (but its small) and we have a swing set, but i am looking for some other activities/games they can play (preferably on their own). anyone have any suggestions??

Balls, bubbles, water balloons, or any of the outdoor games they sell in the seasonal section of the stores like tossing games.

I usually throw out a bunch of balls and bats and soccer balls and we have a net so they can go crazy. Also water table, small pool, water balloons, water guns. I also got an inflatable bowling set like the one below that's so fun. And KanJam...fun for everyone!!!

Re: having BBQ, need activities for kids
I had an end of year party for my kids. The biggest hit was a big blow up pool. The kids were in and out of it all day. And I bought water sprayers at Dollar Tree (I had one per kid) and they used the pool to fill their sprayers. Kids love water balloons but I find that i spend way more time filling them then it's worth. They're all gone within minutes and looking for more. I would skip it. I also had a bunch of balls, soft foam frisbees and bubbles.
