2nd time around
Hi all. Not sure if any ladies are on here from 2012 when I got pregnant with dd#1.
It took us 18 months with dd and unexplained IF. I'm 37 so instead of just tic for a couple of months we want to go straight back to the experts. Of course we make this decision and I got laid off at the beginning of the week so we are getting added to dh's insurance in early Sept. Since we don't know how long this will take we are just going to jump in. Have no clue what dh's insurance will cover. Shoot me now.
Couple of questions RSONY got us pg after 3 cycles. I think I was on clomid, follistim, and the trigger shot and had an iui plus we has sex.
Now I see everyone on this board is very against RSONY but I don't know who we should go to then. I'm in Islip and dh works in Hauppauge. Any suggestions?

Welcome back! I remember you from your first go around. I don't know much about RSONY, but I used LIIVF in West Islip in 2012. Got pregnant on my very first cycle. Had Dr. Pena. He isn't the nicest man but he was brilliant and knew how to give me my DD.

We were pg the same time with our first. I now have another and am not TTC, but when we had our second, we just went right back to the RE and did exactly what worked to have DS. It worked the first try and now we have a 15 mo (tomorrow) DD, too.
We used RMA NY in Manhattan, so I'm no help for recommendations. But my advice is just to go back and try what worked the first time - same protocol.

My insurance covers RSONY so just going to go back to the same dr who got me pregnant the last time using the same protocol. The nurse laughed because I'm like tell me what to do and does my dh need to come to the consultation since we have been there done that. She's like nope.
