How much is school lunch typically?
Not sure how I missed this info but how much does school lunch typically cost? Also does anyone know how much it costs to have milk at snack time? This doesn't seem to be listed in my paperwork.

Obviously each school is different but ours is 2.50 for elementary lunch and .60 for milk. We have to provide all parts of our own snack.

i was just looking at ours, since DS starts kindergarten tomorrow  looks like its 2.70 a day. and from what i can tell, that includes a milk, too. we live in NJ...

Ours is $2.70 - includes drink and choice of fresh fruit, as well as hot lunch and sides (or alternative deli selections, such as sandiwches, bagel, salad, or yogurt parfait).
My DS likes to buy and it's money well spent for me not to have to pack lunch every day!

It is? I think it is $2.75 in elementary school. My DS never buys but I put $10 on the lunch account through the app just in case.
Breakfast is free, which he eats

How much is school lunch typically?
It's $2.00 at our school and it includes milk and listed sides.
The snacks you can buy cost almost as much as the lunch itself!

How much is school lunch typically?
$2.50 is a complete meal and a drink (milk/water/juice). They can buy snacks at lunch time and the price varies depending on what it is but most are under a dollar.
For snack time, you can't buy milk. You have to supply your own drink and snack.

Last year my son paid $1.85, with free breakfast.
This year the district got some kind of grant so now they have free breakfast and free lunch!
