Three or four foot fence along front property line

Has anyone put a fence in front yard, three or four feet high? My town allows up to four feet. I'm wondering what size to get.

I hear you. At least my front lawn won't be outfield anymore. The lawns are connected and its one big open lawn. The fence will break it up. I don't mind if a ball comes over and they need to get it, but I think it will resolve looking out my window and seeing five kids positioned in my front yard waiting to catch the ball, and them taking breaks laying on my grass.

We had that issue a few time - and we have a big field down at the end of the block - it is so annoying.

How did you deal with this? It is from one family next door. Sometimes it is even adult visitors playing ball with them too. We spoke to the kids a few times and still happening.

We started to park our cars in the way on the street in front of our house.

Three or four foot fence along front property line

i have a decorative wood fence - it's just along the sides of our lawn & around our garbage can area .
But, one side backs our neighbors full fence and the other side backs town owned woods

my neighbor has a chain link around his whole front yard. about same 4'. his is up to a neighbors chain link and open space on other side.
he is super careful about people parking in front of his house and keeping his lawn perfect.
