Refi question when you have a second loan
Has anyone successfully refinanced their first mortgage recently if they had a second mortgage too (HELOC loan). Thanks.
We were able to do it years ago on our other house to have them subordinate the second loan but was looking for more recent experiences.

Refi question when you have a second loan
It was 4 years ago, but we were able to refi our main loan with a HELOC. Could be by we refi'd with our current bank who also has the HELOC.

I just did it a few months ago. But the first and HELOC with were the same bank I refi'd through. There was also no balance on the HELOC but I'm not sure if that matters.

yes i did but this was 4? years ago when you could do up to 125% of appraisal value.
the 2nd wont work with you though
