Nursing while pregnant??
I still nurse my 2 year old at night. I am 7 weeks pregnant and wondering if I should stop, or what is the right thing to do?

Nursing while pregnant??
He will probably stop on his own as the pregnancy typically changes your milk and your supply. But there's no reason to actually stop if neither of you wants to.
However if you are not interested in tandem nursing, I would probably try to wean him by the six-month mark so he's completely done with it by the time the baby arrives and doesn't resent him/her.

Nursing while pregnant??
I nursed through my pregnancies with DD2 and DD3. Nursing in pregnancy got painful for me, but I can't remember at what month that started. I tandem nursed DD1 and DD2 for a while. It was difficult for me and I chose to completely wean DD2, who was already 2, before DD3 was born. I also had one miscarriage between DD2 and DD3. I can't say whether nursing contributed, but I did wonder if it lowered my progesterone. When I got pregnant again, I took progesterone supplements.

Re: Nursing while pregnant??
I don't think you need to stop.
My sister nursed while she was pregnant. Her DD weaned when she was probably 4 months pregnant.
My friend tandem nursed her toddler (2 year old) and newborn.

Nursing while pregnant??
My doctor told me to stop but I didn't and nursed #1 through my entire pregnancy with #2. I did a lot of research on this and didn't have any issues.

Nursing while pregnant??
My son self-weaned because I think the milk changed but if he didn't stop himself I wasn't planning on stopping him.
