Okay, I am slowly learning that they are kind of the worst. Am I alone?

We have only barely gotten started and already so many problems with unstable inventory, bad customer service, screw-ups with online orders, etc.

I didn't register with them. I heard too many horror stories. Just did buy buy baby. But I will say I had issues with toys r us wish lists. Nothing as being marked as bought and I got dupes

I registered with them, no issues. I kept on top of my registry with the app. However, SIL also used them and they were awful, we almost didn't go with them because of her experience

Same here. I do think this is the time of year where they clear out/discontinue old merchandise and replace with new stuff. Sometimes it's as simple as a new pattern of fabric. Just keep an eye on your registry and update as needed.

I registered with them and BBB. They were pretty bad. The customer service was the worst (in store and on the phone). BBB was so much better!

I registered with them. I occasionally got emails about items on registry being discontinued but nothing crazy. I wasn't too happy with their furniture delivery . All pieces arrived damaged and then when they came back for rede livery another piece was damaged. The mgr did give us a 200 gift card without us saying anything which was cool.

Re: Babies R Us

I was warned about them and their customer service and return policy, and decided to go with BBB. I know some people have zero problems with them, while others say its a nightmare...I assume it would depend on the store.

Yeah, they kinda stunk for my family/friends, too. Not that Buy Buy Baby was any better. Chat Icon

ETA: Our biggest issue with BRU was items not being taken off the registry while BBB we had furniture delivery issues.

BRU is fine if you know what you are getting yourself into. I love the sayville one. I registered there for baby #2 because I wanted the coupons. tRu and BRU are usually the most expensive and their customer service sucks but they have the biggest inventory of baby things so I think that's why everyone sucks it up.

I have a registry on BBB too, but people seem to prefer BRU so far. Here's to hoping for the best!

I registered at BBB with no issues but I go to BRU all the time now and I find their customer service way better than BBB. The service at the Garden City BBB is beyond horrible- there is one manager in particular who is a gigantic b!tch and is the reason I won't set foot in there.

Re: Babies R Us

Yeah, I don't love BRU for registries. For our first we registered at Target instead (not sure if they were that much better though but I did find their prices to be lower than BRU so I thought that was good).

I used BRU in Sayville for my registry two years ago and have been shopping there ever since-I have only had one problem with a return and it ended up working out in the end. I did not receive any duplicates for things not being marked off.

I registered there and BBB. Never had an issue with either. I shopped at BRU in Bohemia all the time after DD was born and really like it.

I'm always disgusted in BRU. The one store in the city is a sh*thole. I'm a huge fan of BBB. Everything related to my registry was so easy with them!
