Enrichment?
Those that do enrichment with their kids, what do you do?
I am not talking about extra curricular activities.

Enrichment may mean different things to different people. My son takes a math class at School Nova at Stony Brook. It's fabulous. Many of the children are professors' kids from the university. My son and most other students there study a grade or 2 above what their school teaches. Next year I want him to take a science class. They give homework and he plays sports but I think it's important and he actually loves the fact that he takes a class at a university. I didn't realize it when I enrolled him but that becomes a big deal to the kids.

This is really interesting. Can the kids just take one class or is it like another full school day? (I noticed they mentioned snacks or lunch somewhere.)
Also, if your kids are taking classes a grade or two above what they are in in regular school, what do they do in classes day to day. Are they just really bored? DH is really good at math and loves it. He told me one night the thing he would change about school was harder math. As it is, his teacher gives him (and the others in his class who are sort of ahead) a packet of a little more advanced math to do if they finish before the rest of the class. I just don't want him to hate school because it's boring.

They can take one class. So far, my son does not seem to be bored in school. He has to stay on his toes because the way they show their work is different. He has learned to be very flexible and to approach a problem in a few different ways.
