Condo locations for parents?
My parents are thinking of selling their home here in Nassau and downsizing to a condo here on LI and also buying a condo out of state for the winter months. Any suggestions for condo locations other than Florida that have warm weather? Both would be retired, in their mid 60's, active, like to go out to eat, shop, etc. Thanks!

Myrtle Beach, Charleston, or Hilton Head, SC
Savannah, GA
Austin, TX

Condo locations for parents?
I personally love Austin. It's a very active city, great food, culture, etc. It's a very interesting city and not stereotypical Texas.

Hilton Head is beautiful. We have a family who retired there they are just west of the bridge so no real flood danger.

I have a cousin who just relocated to the Myrtle Beach, SC area and loves it. Very popular location with retirees.

wake forest, NC is also popular and has a lot of arts, night life, restaurants, etc
