He is the first president to leave any mention of the Jewish people and/or antisemitism out of his statement about this day

Uggh. From his inauguration speech to today, which I know only feels like a year, I don't think I've heard him say one thing about fighting prejudices, fighting for civil rights or anything along those lines. Heartbreaking

It has Bannon written all over it. Bannon is running the show. Trump's statement is pure denial that the Holocaust even happened. I'm so disgusted!

Interesting editorial from Bill Kristol, the conservative writer who was termed the "renegade Jew" by Breitbart when Bannon was running it. It caused a lot of the controversy that people were citing when Bannon's appointment was announced. It was so validating to hear a conservative call out the GOP for being complicit in the face of Trump's "demagoguery."

I follow Bill Kristol. Some Republicans have talked tough against Trump but in the end they have all crumbled and proved to be spineless cowards. I have no faith in the GOP right now to do the right thing.
