Just wondering. I know Tara Conner just shot a spread advertising it. I wonder how much $$$ it will be.

There is a lot of money in NY and surrounding areas in Jersey and CT. They will have no problem booking events at all.

I agree!! And it helps that it's by the water and the Jones Beach Ampitheater, so pre-concert parties could occur here.

Even If I won't like the way the venue looks. It is going to make a killing.
Here's why:
Not many high-high end venues on LI
To have "Trump" on any invitiation will make some believers think it will make a better, more prestegious event
The place is supposedly going to have a slamming hotel which is such an important thing nowadays with weddings, corporate events, etc
Every daddy' lil girl will ask for this. And as a planner myself, I am dying to see it

I cant wait to see pictures of the inside! if they make it a classy (not tacky) place on the water people will be willing to pay a ton to get married there! I always wanted to get married on the ocean but there are really arent any good venues on the ocean with a hotel to boot!

Actually, if Steven Carl (Carlyle on the Green, The Oak Room) is also a partner, it may be a lot nicer and classier than a Trump property.

My brother and SIL got married at The Plaza Hotel in NYC in 1995. It was the most beautiful ballroom I have ever seen.
I hope they re-create that atmosphere.
