Birth announcements

1) What's the best place to get them printed/ ordered from? I had a Groupon for photo affections for Xmas cards and they were pretty good but stilll ended up costing a lot. I want a decent quality though. We're having newborn photos professionally taken, so I'll be uploading a picture from the session and printing them from whatever site we choose.

2) Who did you send birth announcements to? I have my Christmas card list that I was thinking of using bit thays a lot of cards. I was thinking immediate family and friends. Bit then I want to include everyone that sent a gift too etc.

We used Tiny Prints and uploaded our own photos from his newborn shoot.

We sent out birth announcements to everyone on our Christmas list plus a few to my parents friends.

I just ordered from tiny prints I sent them to our close family, friends and one to the main office of each of our employers

I like shutterfly. I get the doublesided 5×7 cards. I turn off the autocorrection on the photos.

I did Shutterfly as well. I got a coupon in Parents magazine I think or maybe I found one online and it wasn't that expensive. We sent to close family and friends. Whoever sent a gift I just sent a thank you card if I didn't send them an announcement

We sent to everyone on our wedding invite list and then more, colleagues etc.

thanks everyone - I thought I was going overboard by doing xmas card list, because that includes friends also and not just family. Good to know i won't really be going too crazy then. I also kind of figure - that list is already current, and handy with everyone's addresses. it'll save me some time hahah

I like Minted. They have a feature where you can upload your address list in excel and they print the envelopes for you, so I am obsessed with that.

I used our Christmas list.

I used Simply to Impress for my Christmas cards this year and I was sooooo impressed with the quality, the service, everything.
They were amazing

The quality was awesome and I got a foiled print on it. They were super cute but DH wanted to kick me when I showed him after he thought I was gonna go through vistaprint

I designed my own and then uploaded them to Vista Print. We also used our Christmas card list.
