Gestational Diabetes - diet controlled
I had DS on 1/25. At the hospital, the only time they checked my FS was in the morning and it was a fasting one, and normal. It was never checked again. I didn't continue with fingersticks at home either but I do have an endocrinology f/u in 2 weeks. I'm just curious what everyone else did after they had the baby.

Gestational Diabetes - diet controlled
Nothing. I never went back for the postpartum glucose test.
I did have my a1c checked after both pregnancies during routine blood work and it was well within range.

Yeah, I'm having a lot of issues with the Billing Dept. at the endocrinologists office and I'm about to cancel my postpartum visit because of it. I'll just go to my primary and see if she wants to do an a1c.
