Birthday Party RSVPs
I know this has been asked a ton of times.
My RSVP date for DD's birthday party is tomorrow. I have to give a final headcount to the venue and the person making my favors by Monday.
Do I reach out to the people that have not responded? If so, should I wait until Saturday to do that?

You think reaching out on the date the RSVP is due is ok? Not too annoying? lol

It's fine. If they waited this long, they may have just forgotten so a reminder would be fine

I'd ask now... if that annoys someone, too bad. chances are you won't even hear from most of those people by the rsvp date anyways can you tell I have no tolerance with rsvps LOL

I'm at this point. It's really annoying. I always RSVP right away because I never want people to have to wait and I don't want to forget.

Birthday Party RSVPs
I get anxious but I always feel awkward following up on a no rsvp until the response date as passed unless its in casual conversation with someone. If you sent an evite I would send a reminder today that the rsvp date is coming up.. but otherwise if you are calling or emailing I would wait till Friday.

I would probably wait until Friday. I hate when people reach out before the date has passed. I always rsvp on time, usually at least a day or two before, so it does irritate me when they don't even give the chance.

Re: Birthday Party RSVPs
I know that I am in the minority.
But...
I would not reach out to ANYONE. If the date passes and they have not RSVP'd, then give the "final" head count to the venue.
If someone is BALLSY enough to show up without a RSVP I would have no problem saying to them "I am sorry... we did not know you were coming as you did not RSVP and we gave the final count to the venue. I will see if there is still room, but we have paid in full already."
THIS is why I never did birthday parties out at a place.

I'm in a similar boat. I have to give a head count today. For those that didn't RSVP (about 1/4 of the list), I assume yes. As far as goodie bags, I always make extra.
I'm too shy to follow up.

I do the same too...but based on my past experiences, those who didn't RSVP didn't show up.
ETA: I'm sometimes a late responder because it may be dependent on my DH's schedule which can change from week to week (travel), but I always try to respond by the date requested. And I wouldn't be put off if someone contacted me to try and get an idea if my child was going, even if it was before the RSVP date.
