We're at the point where we need to pick out tile for the waterline. I'm gravitating towards the smaller 3/4"x3/4" glass tiles for the waterline and possibly over the top of the spa, but from a practical standpoint, larger tiles would be more ideal (less grout, easier cleaning.)

Does anybody here have experience with the smaller tiles? Any opinions on it?

Are you in the North East? Just curios because I feel like I don't see it used all that often up here.

What do you have to do to clean it? I'm concerned about maintaining it. Supposedly more grout lines = more work.

I'm in FL. Last pool we did, we used standard tile. This one we upgraded to the glass mosaic and it's no maintenance. We have a pool guy who comes weekly and he brushes it, as you would any pool. There is really no maintenance aside from that.
