WW Math

OK ladies - need some points help - I used to know this, but I don't remember...If you are eating more than one serving of a food - do you multiply calories, fat, fiber and then figure out points - or do you figure out points for one serving and multiply the amount.

Example - I ate a can of tuna. Servings say 2.5

One serving is 1 point - so is the whole can 2.5 points (1 x 2.5)?

When I do it the other way (adding extra servings into calories, etc) it comes out higher - came out to 3 points!!

Which way is correct - I always thought it was the first way (figure out points first then multiply by # of servings)

Thanks so much!Chat Icon

Re: WW Math

sometimes a food can be on the higher side of the points.. For example if something is 2 points for one serving it may be 4.5 for 2 servings.

Always try to slide the item just to make sure.

Re: WW Math

I usually err on the side of higher points. Now, I journal online, though, so I don't have to think about it anymore Chat Icon
