Clomid and Cough Syrup

I have always needed to take Clomid to become pregnant. Successful twice by BDing and two more times by IUI. We want to try to get a BFP through BDing, so my question is, did anyone take cough syrup while on Clomid? From what I understand, Clomid can dry up CM which can inhibit sperm. So I had read that taking certain cough syrups (ones that thin mucus) can also help to have better CM.

Anyone have experience?

Or Preseed? Never needed lubricant before, but since hubby's sperm count has gone down (hopefully getting better after his surgery)....so what are your thoughts?

I'm not on clomid, but am having trouble conceiving. While my Dr was away on medical leave, the covering dr suggested I take Robitusin. I never got my BFP but was recently doing some research. It seems that you are just supposed to use regular Robitusin w/out all the letters after it. Those versions don't contain the ingredient that produces CM. I'm on a break now but when I start back up in May, I will use preseed, regular Robitusin, take my arsenal of vitamins and Royal Jelly. Good luck!
