Cervix shortening..what else!-UPDATE
Not a great update at the doctors today ladies. I went and the babies are okay but my cervix shortened and they sent me straight to the hospital. I apparently was also having contractions and didn't even really feel them.
They sent me home tonight but gave me a shot of steroids for the babies lungs in case I have to deliver early. I go back tomorrow for a second shot of steroids. Please keep us in your prayers. I honestly can't take this stress anymore. First we lose baby c last week and now this. 
Update:
Good news contractions have subsided! And I got my second shot. If anything changes come back to the hospital. But it seems to be okay now. I'm not in the clear because my cervix really shortened from a 4 to a 1. I have to be very careful

I'm sorry you're dealing with this.
I wasn't carrying multiples, and was not in the same situation as you at all, but I'm just trying to give a little hope here. At 23 weeks I was in labor with my little one, shortened cervix, dilated, contractions, it was terrible. Eventually it stopped, then happened again at 30 weeks. I followed everything the doctor said, rested as much as possible with a 2 year old at home and delivered at 39 weeks! Later than my first! Don't lose hope. It's a difficult journey, but nothing is written in stone. Prayers of strength and light for you and your babies.

Oh my goodness, you poor thing, I just can't believe all you've had to deal with. How many weeks are you? After 23/24 weeks, the babies can make it even if the worst happens. I'm a preemie mom too, I know how scary and overwhelming that is. I hope your babies stay put for a good long time. Keep us updated.

I had a shortened cervix... I had an emergency cerclage put in at 23 weeks and was able to carry full term. Progesterone is also supposed to help. Best of luck

Thank you all for your prayers and support. I'm hoping these babies stay in longer! Everyday is a blessing. They can't come out at 24 weeks! It's too early

My dhs cousin had a ic, also with twins. She was on bedrest from six months on or so. She ended up with a cerclage too.
