country fair for birthday party?
We live way out east and my son is turning 9 soon. We were thinking of Country Fair on route 112, but have never been.
How is it? fun? worth it? he was thinking of laser tag, go karts and mini golf.

I don't think it's worth it unless you have an adult to take each of the kids on the go karts. I know at 9 (and even 10), my daughter isn't driving a go kart on her own around those tracks with maniacs on it!

Re: country fair for birthday party?
We had my boys birthday parties there, and everyone LOVED it. We chose the laser tag, go-karts, and mini-golf. As the go-karts go, it was only the party that went around. They didnt let anyone else on the track at the time. I say it was worth it!!!

We went to one about 2 years ago. My son was too young to do go karts himself but we took turns doing it with him. All the kids did and th staff asked the hosts if the party was for the kids or adults. He loved it. Mini-golf was not such a big hit. He was a 3 1/2 year old pro golfer, throwing his clubs and all.

Re: country fair for birthday party?
My son had his party there two years ago and everyone loved it! Nearly everyone came from Bellmore, too, which is pretty far. He chose laser tag, go carts, and mini golf. He said if he was to do it again, he would skip the mini golf. It took too long with 22 kids. Parents stayed because it was so far and were allowed to be drivers for their kids on the go carts for no extra charge, so that wasn't a problem.
