Sorry Another Question!
This is all still new to me so I always have a question
Background first...This is my first IUI cycle. I am not on meds b/c I had to have a FemVue so it was too late to start meds this month. FemVue CD 9, montioring days 10, 12, 13, 14, and today 15.
Yesterday I had a 17.5 and 16 on my left. Today it was 20 and 14.5. Lining is 10.6. They just called and told me trigger tonight "any time I want...6, 7, 8" and IUI is at 8:30 tomorrow morning. That's only like 12 hours after trigger...isn't that really soon?? I thought it was typically 24-36 hours. Has anyone done an IUI so close to trigger? TIA

Sorry Another Question!
Whenever I did IUIs I would trigger at night and then go in the morning 2 days later. So if I triggered on Sunday night I'd go in on Tuesday. Some REs do back to back IUIs then you would go in the day after trigger and the next day too. I was always told an exact time to trigger.

Thanks, that's what I thought too. I just did the shot at 6:20. I didn't feel a thing! I just feel like this timing is off.

Sorry Another Question!
I feel like your on target! Sperm can live in a woman's body for anywhere from 2 days to even 7 days! (In certain studies) so when your egg is released, those sperm will be ready and waiting! I would be encouraged by it! Good luck!

Thanks! I went in for the IUI this morning. The egg didn't drop yet and was right around 21. They did the IUI and want me to go back tomorrow for second IUI to cover bases. She said I started surging on my own yesterday so that's why I had to trigger last night and go in this morning. If the egg had already dropped then it just would have been the 1 IUI today. Since it was still in there, they want to do 2.
