Yes, it's expensive.
An app, steak, sides, dessert, and drinks is easily over $300.

Yes, it's expensive, but sooo good. It's a "special occasion " restaurant for us. We went for our anniversary a few months ago.

I have never been but I have heard it is WAYYYY overrated and overpriced for what it is. If it's anything like most steakhouses on Long Island, I believe it.

As others have said, Prime is definitely not worth the money at all! The location is beautiful( Coco's for those of us who remember!!!) but food is not great.

We went two sundays ago just to have a drink and a light bite to eat with the kids. Outside near the water is a more casual menu whereas the inside has a more formal menu. Still expensive but beautiful spot to stop for some drinks and some light fare. We had food from Kerber farms prior to stopping in. We ordered tacos and a burger for the kids and dh and I had a few cocktails and oysters.

The atmosphere (water view outside in the summer) is nice and a good idea in theory, but the food is nothing to write home about. Last time we went, I felt like I was planning my own dinner. we ordered a porterhouse for two with a side of asparagus. The waiter asked how we wanted the asparagus, steamed, sautéed, etc. We said sautéed, then he asked if he wanted oil and garlic on it? I'm like.. can you just make us asparagus please, like I didn't come here to design my own menu. So its nothing creative or exciting, its steak and vegetables and potatoes.
