Blood from milk duct while pregnant?

I was showering yesterday and while bending over shaving my legs I noticed blood. I then realized it was coming from a a single duct. This is my 4th baby and I've never had this. It was definitely blood, not colostrum. I went to the Dr today nd she didn't feel anything. Mnipple is sore from her trying to express. She said we will wait and see. I get home and a few hours later she calls to tell me that while putting the info I to my Hart she decided to call the breast specialist for a referral. Now I'm panicing. Anyone ever have this?

I never had it, but I could have sworn I've heard of it before because of the increased blood flow and vessels to that area. Maybe bc it's your 4th. It's just worse like everything else seems to be looser and quicker lol. Try not to panic!

Because I would have been nervous too, I did some reading after this post. Seems that it's common due to increase in blood volume and vessels etc. Oh pregnancy lol

While pregnant I would sometimes leak a little and it would have blood in it. If I squeezed my nipple a little would come out too. It was nothing significant and I was fine. It was over 4 years ago.
