3rd Pregnancy and More Nervous about giving birth

This is my 3rd pregnancy - 1st one I was induced at 41 weeks which I failed to progress and ended with a c-section.

2nd one - my water broke at 37 weeks 5 days at around 9 pm. No real pain until 1:30ish and he was born at 3:31am so a successful VBAC. It was intense those 2 hours but quick.

For some reason I feel I am more nervous now about giving birth than I was either of those times. Maybe because I have experienced both but it wasnt like I had a terrible experience. I also feel like I have more anxiety - I worry about the cord being around his neck or the craziest was the other night he was kicking and I started to feel anxious that he was squished inside and how uncomfortable I would feel!

I know when the day comes I will just go with the flow and everything will be fine no matter if I get to VBAC again or have a csection. I was just curious if anyone else was more or less anxious about giving birth after multiple children already?

Same here!! 3rd pregnancy too. I am 16 weeks and I was crying to dh last night that I am already feeling uncomfortable and I'm scared to be really uncomfortable later on. Also, since I haven't been to the dr since 12 weeks of course there is something wrong...ugh. My next appt is Tuesday. I've had two successful inductions but my second dc was almost 10 pounds and he was early so I'm freaking out this one will be over 10 pounds and how is he gonna get out?! Lol

I was totally the same, except I only had vaginal births and 2 kids..its definitely because you know what to expect and you know the pain from both.

My fear too was the cord and my water breaking in rush hour on the LIE lol, I was so paranoid. Also, all these crazy and sad stories on social media don't help so stay away from that too.

I ended up having the same kind of birth as my first same scenario, this time was faster only a few pushes and she was out.

3rd was SO FAST!! Had to call an ambulance and just barely made it to the delivery room. Water broke and baby came out in one push. When I started feeling minor contractions (close to due date), I should have called doctor and gone to hospital RIGHT AWAY! But, good news, it was my easiest delivery, no epidural and very fast!

Obviously I would love a quick delivery as I feel that my 2nd (1st vaginal delivery) was pretty fast. I live though like 30ish mins from the hospital with no traffic so hopefully not too fast lmao
