K moms- all these papers!

So my son is in kindergarten and gets two worksheets every night. His teacher checks then and then sends them home the next day. Should I keep these papers? I think I'm going to punch holes and put them in a binder to keep it neat. What do you do with them? I kinda feel bad just tossing them (I know I sound silly!)

just take pictures, like with your phone camera, and then recycle the actual papers.

Trying to figure out a system here. So far, I made two folders. One for finished work and one for unfinished since she sometimes comes home with blank papers or she didn't finish coloring something. I figured if she needs something to do I can pull from the unfinished folder. The other folder I plan to go through once a month or so and just pick a select few to save and I'll recycle the rest.

Completed homework that gets sent home after the teacher grades it gets tossed.

I don't plan on keeping classwork or hw... The plan is to go through it each month and toss what isn't needed... if it doesn't fit into the folder I have, it's going...

Keep art. Keep things they worked hard on. Toss homework!

I actually saved it all!!! And then in June, I went through everything. I have a file crate with a folder for each grade. So I saved awards, report cards, school pictures, and the stuff he really spent time on. Homework...no need to save.

This exactly
Especially for K
When they get older you make keep some papers as a study guide then toss it after the test
Unless it has a pic of my kid or it's a nice project everything gets tossed. Most of the stuff I keep is the preschool projects.

Toss it. I kept a lot of it for DS 1 and it was so much by the end of the year I ended up tossing it.

Now I only keep the "special" things... And I still don't look at them lol.

I keep everything and my son is in 2nd already. I have no idea what I'm going to do with them. I just like to look back and show him how his writing and thinking, etc has evolved. I'm a sap though. I've even kept almost all of their clothes. Luckily i have lots of space and storage but eventuallu i'm going to have to get rid of stuff.

Throw it out! Seriously, what would you do with all that? I can't even imagine! If you want to be sentimental, save one thing per month Chat Icon I did save the "cute" stuff, but mundane dittos on math, english, etc. No way!

my son's in first this year. I toss the homework once the teacher checks it and sends it back. no reason to save all those!
I saved the stuff he worked extra hard on- like later in the year they actually started writing their own little books- with like a sentence or 2 on each page.... or some of the more elaborate art stuff. but the day to day homework? NOPE!!
I plan to keep one folder for each school year per kid, so that keeps my saving in check lol

GARBAGE!!!!! I only keep certain art. He has been in daycare forever and we already have a ton so we are picky about what we keep.

I only keep artwork/crafts, never worksheets or homework. I think I only kept maybe her very first homework and one one two worksheets from the very beginning or the year, just to be able to compare her handwriting to that of the end of the year.
