My referral went thru
As of today I have a RE Dr. Ripps our insurance cleared me for 4 visits to be used by 3/07. It's a start and I'm taking baby steps. All the miscarriages have scared me and I'm just starting to get back to my old self, well that was until my mom reminded me I would have been due in November if M/c #1/4 didn't happen.
My doc gave me three cycles of Orthotricyclen to start when AF comes back unless otherwise directed by the RE but he spoke to my RE and they want to 100% give my lining a break with no chance of pregnancy so if it takes the pill then so be it. My military OB is telling me that my Beta's are down to a 1.8 already, I go back tomorrow for another beta and that my sample from the miscarriage came back vesigial without Chorionic Villi.
So right now I'm doing all of my paperwork for the RE, trying hard to get my DH to see his military doc to get a referral as well (which will probably be hard to get) and find out what exactly my insurance will and willnot pay for.
Dh is going away for a week or so which isn't fun for Jack and I but hopefully when he gets back we will have our appointment and be able to discuss what route/options we have before us.
Right now for us its babysteps and I'm just trying to do as much research as I can without diving in too deep.
If anyone knows of any good questions to have for the Doc I'd appreciate it.

Hi Laurie,
Glad you got the referral. I would make sure you get a full recurrent pregnancy loss panel-I sent you a list at one point, let me know if you need it again. Also you may want to ask him to check you for bacterial infections. Good luck. I hope you find the answers you are looking for.

I just went to their website and like Lauren said, you want someone that specializes in RPL. A dr giving you an IVF when you have implantation issues probably won't change anything. Before you see thsi Dr I would ask to speak with him on the phone and make sure he is equipped to analyze your issue.

He is the only specialist here for the entire panhandle of florida, I think his website is rather weak for information in general which is why its lacking on RPL. I've been in touch with his nurses since my last miscarriage started and I believe I have found the right practice.
