DOE teachers of tomorrow -UPDATE
I am eligible for the 2016-2017 school year. The email I received in June said the money would be directly deposited in the Fall of 2017 (now). Anyone know when this money gets distributed?

UPDATE:
The email came today that the TOT funds are being paid out this Thursday as part of REGULAR payroll AND they taxed it.
I am grateful for the extra money but upset about the fact that they taxed it when in prior years, they did not. I had already had the entire $3400 earmarked for some much needed home repairs.
In any case, anyone else who is waiting for it, its in your 11/30 check.

One more question... Is this check separate from payroll? or does it go in with a paycheck and get taxed to death?

Meaning what? Tax free? How does that work with the IRS?
I REALLY hope this comes out soon because I was counting on it for the holidays. Fingers crossed!

Yeah I heard they taxed it and put it in your regular paycheck this year. That is very very upsetting. I'd be pissed.
